Any one know what this tree is please

Evening All,

Bought a house last year november, with a tree in the middle of the lawn.  Thought it might be cherry (flowering), but have been surprised with the dark red of the blossom.  My search has lead me on to a crab apple but I am just not sure.  Picture of leaves and blossom coming up.

    Yes, it's crab apple. I have one that's very similar.

    Alina thank you any idea of the name of it?  I am thinking of moving it next year and if it did not take, wanted to get another one similar because it is beautiful.

    Hi Judith,

    Mine is "Royalty", but I'm not sure that it is identical to yours.

    Have a google and see what you think.
