 Is it some sort of pine, I will stop guessing and leave it to the experts image

    Not a pine - it looks like a yucca to me http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yucca

    Looking at one on the other side of the room right now. Wouldn't survive outside here! 

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Believe it or not, there's a large Yucca growing on Blakeney Point sticking out into the North Sea off the North Norfolk coast

     You can see the Yucca if you take one of the boat trips to see the seals
