Worth a try especially in lawns where a lime is needed.

    Hello all!

Revenge on the horsetails part 2 is a dilema I’ve been trying to solve for over 20 years! I am replanting my front garden and would like to try something new.  I heard there’s a few things to you can consider doing.

    1. improving drainage  2. Remove any mulch and/or plastic from the soil (not sure if this means landscape paper?)  3. apply dolomite lime at the rate recommended on the package.

Wait at least two weeks before adding any fertilizer, since lime and fertilizer tend to cancel each other out if applied together

Does anyone know if this could do the trick ?

  • I had horsetails all over my front garden for years.last summer I covered the whole area with garden lime from Wilko . I was amazed to see it's all gone. I have looked again and there's  not a sign of it. I hope others will try this out.
