Lawn Raker

In need of reassurance I have treated myself to a electric lawn raker after days of aching muscles from raking manually last year. After days of no rain and sunshine I decided to get it out of the box and get to it. Well I have just used it and I'm horrified with what it's down to me lawn, it's looks awful. I know that all the website say I will have a lovely lush lawn after several week but it doesn't look like I have much grass at all. I have bought seed and fertiliser mix to put on the lawn to help to bare patches but my lawn look like one big bare patch :0/ Please tell me I've done the right thing and before I know it my lawn will look great. Thank you

i scarified my lawn last year as was amassed at the effect after I had reseeded it

i must admit after I had ripped my lawn apart in the process it looked quite horrific, but it did no harm and the good that followed was that my lawn looked great in the summer. Lawns are not easy to maintain and can become a major worry to a gardener if it does not reach the same performance as your boarders. But don't let a lawn become the biggest priority as it will normally bounce back.

my neighbour does no really lawm maintenance , but he has a greener, lush lawn every year. He just gives it a weed and feed

    Incredible but true

    Enjoy your garden
