2 Compost Bins For Free

Hi, everyone. I have 2 green compost bins, both with lids - which I am not using (left at property by previous owners). They would be ideal for an allotment or vegetable garden. Free to a good home. In North-West London.

Try putting an add in you local newsagents window. Such a shame you don't want to use them; making your own compost is very rewarding.image

I found this site last week, I haven't tried it but it reads well http://i.recycle.co.uk/about/

recycle.co.uk is a platform that allows users to list items they are willing to give away for free in an attempt to help others within their community and stop items that are perfectly reusable from going to landfill sites.

We aim to raise lots of money for Charity, and help good causes in the process, as well as educating the UK on the importance of working towards becoming a zero waste nation where things are no longer simply discarded when others could make good use of them.

For the first 48 hours of a listing only Charities and good causes in your area will be able to claim your item if they feel they can reuse it within their focus group or sell it on to raise funds for the Charity. If the item has not been claimed after 48 hours it becomes open to the general public who may request it. As the owner you may then choose who the item goes too based on the request and profile of the user who has attempted to claim the item.
