Lilylouise your garden is lovely, very neat.

I have a north-ish facing border about four foot wide and have a small apple tree in the middle. What else could i put there? bearing in mind behind next doors leylandii loom large.

Oh i also have a fern there but dosnt seem to be very happy.image

What an insane amount of work you must have to do Lilylouise! Thanks for the tour!image

P.S. Since uploading two photos, my little green tree option now refuses to browse my computer, so I can't upload anything else unless it changes its mind suddenly. (Perhaps that's a blessing in disguise for you guys) unless someone knows how to solve the problem?

This is the most mature part of my garden with some shrubs beginning life as Woolworths sticks 17yrs ago. I especially love this time of year, Spring is my favourite season because I am fascinated by shapes and forms, colours and textures and Spring has such newness. image

Spiraea japonica Goldflame gives me so much pleasure from my kitchen window with a bunch of Asiatic Lily just coming up through a trail of Sedum.

Pam-think I have got it-you can link back to your photobucket albums by posting the link

    http://s1143.photobucket.com/albums/n627/thedogcody/cody/

then you highlight that link, click on the link symbol next to the smiley icons in the bar above-a box comes up you enter the url then the link is completed.

Does that make sense?-or you can up load individual pictures your the image symbol
