I have a north-ish facing border about four foot wide and have a small apple tree in the middle. What else could i put there? bearing in mind behind next doors leylandii loom large.
Oh i also have a fern there but dosnt seem to be very happy.
What an insane amount of work you must have to do Lilylouise! Thanks for the tour!
P.S. Since uploading two photos, my little green tree option now refuses to browse my computer, so I can't upload anything else unless it changes its mind suddenly. (Perhaps that's a blessing in disguise for you guys) unless someone knows how to solve the problem?
Oh hubby solved my problem, Internet cache needed clearing. so I'm footloose again, prepare for spam! (only joking)
This is the most mature part of my garden with some shrubs beginning life as Woolworths sticks 17yrs ago. I especially love this time of year, Spring is my favourite season because I am fascinated by shapes and forms, colours and textures and Spring has such newness.
Spiraea japonica Goldflame gives me so much pleasure from my kitchen window with a bunch of Asiatic Lily just coming up through a trail of Sedum.
