Can anyone tell me what compost I should use to pot on my miniature Christmas tree. (its about 1 foot high at the moment!) Its still nice and green and I want to try and keep it.
I'd use John Innes No 3 Loam based compost - not only will it give the tree the correct nutrients, it will also be weightier than a fibre-based compost so will give it stability.
Is it outside? It will be happy and healthy outside - not too much sun - and then you can just bring it in for the duration of Christmas festivities

Thank you. I will pot it on in JI3 and put it outside and keep my fingers crossed!
Pot it on into a plastic pot, it will be a lot lighter to move when bringng it back indoors for Christmas.
