quick bare root raspberry question
in Fruit & veg
Hi,
i have 5x tulameen and 5x autumn bliss bare root plants, which currently sit in a bundle within one pot (they were purchased like this). i aim to plant these today/tomorrow in containers. i have 5x 45cm pots, of which i plan to plant one of each variety on each end of the container.
now after planting these bare root plants, im sure that the autumn bliss needs pruning down to a few inches above ground level - is that correct? but the main question i have is what to do with the tulameen - do i still prune this one after planting or leave it, bearing in mind it fruits on last years growth (i think ..?) ?
