Are you planning to grow this outside, or in a greenhouse or conservatory?
I have worked in the Middle East and the Caribbean and I never came across anyone growing Bougainvilla from scratch; they always bought in small plants, which then romped away in the ambient heat.
Hi artjak, I am planning to grow this in a very warm porch. We have just returned from a holiday in Egypt, and the plants are everywhere there, they are so pretty. I cant find anywhere on internet where they sell plants either
I have seen them in Gardening Centres and Nurseries, but not this early in the year.
