Edd high matey ,do you mean i can collect seeds to grow from the stem,im asking this as i cant actually get to the plant myself and need to explain to my partner what to do to either cut down or get seeds.
Hi Edd were going for the seeds, being a late summer plant when would you start the seeds ( in greenhouse i suppose )
You may not get seed if the flowers blew off and did not set and if it is just a stalk left then that is the case. Cut close to the bottom of the stalk. It falls off naturally but that can take some time. Spanish dagger can pup and that is a better way to get new plants though the seeds germinate quickly.
Worth a try mate,Kate collected about 8 that were left on the stem now cut off, were going to avago, it would be a treat if they take ,cheers Edd/Blairs for the info
