Strange growth on plumb tree???
Hi All, My wife and I have just brought a new house and with it aquired a number of fruit trees including a plumb tree and cherry tree that seem to be lacking some TLC! The plumb tree has some golf ball size milk chocolate brown bumps growing of one of the main branches! What is it and how do I treate it? The cherry tree seems to be bleeding allot, so much so that I find fist size lumps of sap on the ground every week. What should I do to help these wonderful trees out? Thanks!

Hallo Alan 78
Have a look at this, it's American but they probably have the same problems. Also, if you Google "growths on plum trees" you will get lots of info:
