Cheese plant trunk snapped in the middle due to lack of support
Is there anything I can do to save my large cheese plant? It snapped due to the weight. Entirely my fault due to lack of support.
devastated here. Can anyone help??

Sooooo upset here!!
The leaves below the snap are very old. The snap happened below new growth which is the majority of the plant!!
Sad, but I think it will resprout from the base, given some tlc and time.
I'd repot it with some good compost and this time incorporate a moss pole http://www.indoor-plants.co.uk/mosspole.htm to support the plant.

Thank you. I've cut some young branches and got in water in hope they'll sprout roots. Do u know how long that may take?? Also should I cut the snapped branch completely away considering where the snap is or is there any hope that something may come back on that branch??
