Bulbs planted in soggy lawn

Hi Everyone,

After having all the winter away and waiting for my bulbs to begin to emerge i find my self excited to see what is going to appear each day.

So hello to anyone who remembers me from last year and also to any new people who joined while i was away.

To my question - i planted daffs, snowdrops and some bluebells i think around octoberish, the lawn is very very wet, the other daffs ive planted elsewhere are showing and some are even in flower, but there is no sign at all of the stuff in the lawn.

Is it likely they have rotted over the rather damp winter we have had or am i just being impatient?

I would expect daffs to come up unless you've had a lot of flooding. Snowdrops prefer to be planted around now with the leaves still on, if they dried out in their bags through summer they will not be happy.
