I'll be growing Wisley Magic for the third year running - a wonderful bean tasting just like runner beans used to taste, but without the stringiness of some of the older varieties. It's cropped well in the last two summers, one of which was very wet and one very dry (although I do water well), and it freezes well.
Here is a thread we had last summer/autumn when we reported on which varieties of veg etc did well for us.
