Help with identification please

Hi, my friends Dad has been out with his camera again and would like to know what the name of this flower/plant is please. I have tried to search the web but have not found anything, help would be greatly appreciated.

    Can you give a little more info Ficks. They don't look like anything growing outdoors in our climate now

    Thanks for your reply. I can't give too much im afraid as he just posted the question on Facebook so I said I'd try on here for him. All I know is that they were in his mate's house. Looking at picture next to window/in conservatory for what little sun light we get this time of year.
