Strawberry runners

Recently got our allotment and would like to put in a bed of strawberries, wonder if anyone on line in the York area might have some runners they will not need....many thanks

As you got no reply yet from any kind neighbour I can tell you that Lidl will have strawberry plants in the shops come late March or April. Reasonable prices but pick them up sharpish as the do not care for them very well in my experience and let them dry out.

Elsanta are the variety they carried last year. A good heavy cripper in year 2 and 3. Couldn't remember the name.
