Star Jasmine Wilting

I purchased two mature Star Jasmine plants two months ago.  Both are potted and about 5 feet high.

I live in Australua, so hot conditions at the moment but they are watered almost every day and I have fertilised oncd with SeaSol.  They have good drainage and I have been hesitant to out a water tray under them as I understand this plant likes good drainage.

Now one of them has a severe wilt.  The leaves aren't yellow yet bu they are starting to pale.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Over watering is the simple answer.

I wouldn't water every day, leave it till you see the plant getting a slight wilt, then a good soak.

It's difficult for us in the UK to judge your exact conditions, but over watering is the most common cause of potted plants wilting. You could also try watering from underneath at night.

Watering at night gives the plant the chance to take up water as it needs its, rather than drenching it. It also allows the nutrients in the soil to stay in place rather than being washed out when watering from above.

Let us know how you get on.
