Plant ID please

I have quite a lot of this growing on my lawn. As it is a new garden (to me) things are starting to come up everywhere and it's hard to ID them. If its a weed then i would rather get it out now before it really sets in.  thanks.

    I can see Daisy (Bellis perennis) and Creeping Buttercup (Ranunculus repens), but no Plantain.

    When I click on a photo to enlarge, it is huge and loses all definition. Anyone know if there's a way round this?

    well either way i got a lot out but don't want to overdo it as i now have lots of little holes and don't want more weeds in there! I guess the way forward it to do this in the spring and fill the holes and re seed?

    As you may be able to see there is a leo quite a bit of moss in there so i will treat in april.

    Landgirl, i think you are right i found a few small daisies in there but i think i have a bit of everything!

     

    ps: i Used my fishers weed puller that i got for christmas. Really like that piece of kit!

    Its definetely daisy. I love them, lots of pretty flowers.

    Yes its funny, I say that I encourage wild flowers to grow in the lawn because they are pretty and good for the wild life; but it is possible that I am just too idle to try and maintain a decent lawn. Green is good enough for me.

    All those other colours are good though. Veronica blue and those little purple self-heals, the daisies and clover. If you let it go a bit longer the cat's ears and dog daisies. I get agrimony later in the season as well

    When I was studying in York the Uni grounds were seeded with Veronica, it looked incredible and I was sold for life. That photo's not great so it looks like Epilobium to me but it is more likely to be Daisy. I'm at work and our out dated OS won't let me zoom in to the right bit.
