Rhubarb relocation

Hello,

 

I have two well established rhubarbs that I need to relocate. Is there a time of year I should steer clear of doing this?

    You should do it while the plants are dormant i.e. now. Unless your soil is frozen or waterlogged

    While you are moving it, now could be a good idea to split it as well. Just adding my penny worth.

    Mine are in pots so sounds like now would be the perfect time to get them in the veg border.

    Yes, allium2, now is a great time to plant them in soil and they'll really appreciate it after being grown in pots. image
