Hello Cody, it is great to know that people of your age are already interested in growing plants.
The first thing I would do is get one of those thermometers from Amazon or a Garden Centre that tells you the maximum and minimum temperature in your polytunnel each day at this time of the year. Check it every day to see how low the temperature goes. A lot of Tropical Plants don't like freezing conditions.
Then I would just google tropical plants and lots of Plant Nurseries will come up. I use Mozilla Firefox, which has a system called WOT (Web of Trust) which tells me if a site is safe, honest etc.
When you see a plant that you like, try to find out from the Nursery or just google the plant name to find out what is the MINIMUM temperature that it will tolerate. Then you can work out if it will survive in your tunnel. Also look at the final height and width the plant will grow to.
Good luck with it
Thanks for that info artjak
Keep us posted on your progress!
Yep I will
I will 100% recommend Urban Jungle (http://urbanjungle.uk.com)
Also try:
Fillan http://www.tuckermarshplants.co.uk/
Amulree - http://turn-it-tropical.co.uk/
Jungleseeds - www.jungleseeds.co.uk/
There are quite a few but I can personally say the above are all great.
I just noticed your 12! I was also into gardening at a young age. My parents house had a great loam soil so I was shocked to move to my current house to find heavy clay.
I have a 2 and 4 year old and we have a competition between us to grow the tallest plant bought from the pack below:

Perhaps something that you can try as well?
