Hi Mat
what time of year and did you get any photos of the leaves
In the sticks near Peterborough
they were in full flower in the summer, died back a bit late summer, leaves were long and thin if that helps
Looks like a Senetti
Search for Senetti Blue Bicolour. It should be that.
It's only an annual but they do flower for a long period if deadheaded regularly
They tend to arrive in Garden Centres Mid-March down here
I had some of these in a south facing porch in our old house and they flowered right through a mild winter one year!!
Fairly certain it is a Senetti. They are Spring and early summer flowering, and not fully hardy.
for the fag ends of the aristocracy.
S.Yorkshire/Derbyshire border
Brilliant, thanks all!!
I did overwinter one of these once, in a cool greenhouse, but truth to tell it was not really worth the effort. It never flowered well again, and really I could have given the space to something else - but you have to try these things once in a while.
