Privit hedge alternatives?

Need a fast growing 'privit' type hedge to fill 15 meter run at my new house.  Currently the side of the house has a gravel area and rockery which is visible from the pavement.  I would like a fast growing 'privit' type hedge (as opposed to putting up a fence) to run along side the house.  I need about 15 meters length and i would like the hedge to grow 4-5 foot, i know it will take a few years to get to that height but any ideas and suggestions would be welcome.

    Aucuba japonica 'Golden King'

    Daphne odora'Aureomarginata'

     

    Ilex x altaclerensis 'Golden King' 

    Any of these will look good and are easy to care for.

    Hi GH1K i cant upload pics on this site but we have Laurel and cuttings are so easy and free,ours is 5 foot high along two sides and 10 foot high on the other and looks great, electric hedge cutter makes it a doddle to look after.
