Snowdrop Walk - East Anglia

Some time ago we discussed the idea of meeting up occasionally to visit a garden .... is anyone interested in meeting up to do a Snowdrop Walk in East Anglia late Jan/early Feb?

I was thinking of Anglesey Abbey as it's fairly accessible and we'll be able to have tea and cake http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/anglesey-abbey/things-to-see-and-do/, but some of you may have other ideas?

Once we decide on date and venue etc, I suggest that anyone wishing to discuss more detailed personal arrangements should use the Private Message facility or swap email addresses.  image

Hurrah!  Weekday or weekend?  When do you think?  Early to mid Feb?

Snowdrop timing will depend on weather between now and then but that sounds about right. I'm sure it will be on the website and I have a line of communication

  • Love to come, Dove but too far away. sounds lovely.

How fortuitous!  My National Trust mag has just plopped on the doormat - Anglesey Abbey Snowdrop Festival is 3rd Feb - 9 March.

Nut, will wait to hear from you as to a good date image

i saw 3rd to 9th in your post and just assumed Feb, but it's March. If this weather continues much longer it will be all over by then.

When oursnowdrops our almost out we can check the website and I'll email 'her who'll know'

    Will that be OK?
