Hi Collin ,im sorry i cant help you but seeing as im very soon planting 4 apple trees what is this wash down for , perhaps i should know about it , cheers Alan4711
I was looking at a wash yesterday in a GC. Never having used one before I wondered whether to use it or not, so read the label. It said use between october and December. Do you think I'm too late?

I wouldn't put Jeyes fluid on a living plant.
Both Vitax, and Sowing success, make a Winter Tree Wash.
And have the advantage of being organic as they are both made from plant material.

I've never used a winter wash. I don't spray my fruit trees. I use plum moth and codling moth traps, and the blue tits take care of the rest.
I use the Winter wash as well as the pheromone traps. And I do each tree twice. Once in December as advised on the package and then again in March.
