Talkback: How to prune buddleja

I was always afraid to cut my buddleja's too low but now I will have a go at cutting them back hard

    I always prune my buddeja's hard back - if you have the courage to do so, they will respond well in my experience.

    Why is it wrong, it looks spot on to me, she says, Prune budleja back to base, in March, thats what I always do.

    Looked OK to me as well Lyn. 

    I take mine back further to begin with so that the hefty framework is less obvious. But that's a personal preference
