advice on tree guard size for dwarf stock fruit trees
in Fruit & veg
I've just ordered some dwarf stock fruit trees and will need to protect them from deer and rabbits. They are supplied at 1.5m tall multi-branched bare root. I'm thinking of ordering plastic mesh treeguard tubes. The tubes come in lengths of 60cm up to 1.8m (80-110mm dia.). Any idea which length would be best?

Depends where the branching starts. As tall as possible for protection from deer. You could use reinforced plastic mesh on a roll and form it into a cylinder, that would give you more width to protect the lower branches.
thanks.. I'll wait till they arrive and then measure up for a roll
