  • Telegraph garden shop massive mistake. poor quality plants and sent me white variety when I clearly ordered pink. for what you get not good value for money. Customer service shocking!!! Gutted as a deaf person i don't earn a good wage! Daylight robbery!

Read the smallest print on the advert and if it says Hayloft anywhere - beware!

At least you only got white instead of pink. My mum got 10 identical blue geraniums instead of a collection of different doubles. She got a replacement. I got a dozen delphiniums instead of Phlox. I also got a replacement and got to keep the delphs as well.

The Sale of Goods Act require the product to be as described. Complain to the supplier as stated on the delivery note.  Telegraph or Daily Mail plants are always supplied by someone else like Hayloft or Thompson and Morgan.

I ordered geraniums from the Telegraph shop a few years ago.
What turned up was poor and 2 were dead.
I emailed Telegraph shop twice and received no reply.
I contacted my credit card co (Barclaycard) and they issued a full refund in a couple of days.
The surviving geraniums are still doing well

    See original post

That is sad to read as their plants are on the expensive side.  I went there a couple of years ago and bought a few plants.  Most have done well, apart from one.

Based in Sussex, I garden to encourage as many birds to my garden as possible.
