Garden gate

Dear All,

I am one of those absolute rookies you see once in a while.

I am trying to fit a 100cm x 100cm wooden gate in front of my house. I have 2 questions:

1) Where's a good place to buy the gate?
2) What kind of wood should I be checking for? (e.g. softwood, pressured wood, timber?)
3) Where's a good place to buy the 2 gate posts & decorative finials (e.g. acorn finial post)?

Thank you so much all image

Kind regards,
Andy

We bought a very good gate and necessary posts, hinges, latches etc from here http://www.gardenoasis.co.uk/wooden-gates-c-111_157.html and our builder was very impressed with the quality - we were impressed with the reasonable price. They also sell finials etc (in the fence post section).  Delivery arrangements were very good.
