summer and winter viola/pansy seeds

Hi All

I have collected viola and pansy seeds this summer. When is the best time to sow them for a display over the four seasons.

I'm I right in thinking that seeds are seeds regardless what time of the year they were originally sown/purchased?

You're right in thinking that seeds are the same regardless of the time of year. Winter pansies are just pansies sown at the right time to flower in winter.

I can't advise on pansy timing though, I only grow the perennial Viola cornuta and assorted violets
