Overwintering geraniums

Have got about 50+ still flowering geraniums that I bought as plugs quite late in the season, so everything happened much later than in everyone else's garden. They are still flowering well, but am thinking about what to do in the winter. Can I bring them in and overwinter them somehow? Any suggestions as to how I can do this? I want to develop one of the beds for a vegetable patch over the winter so I will need the space.

put them in a shed and water only occassionaly and removedead stems.
