leaf holes

Hi having read the post of holes in leaves i have a serious problem in which all my foliage on my climbers (honeysuckle and jasmine) along with my cherry and dwarf plum patio plants and i just cannot find anything on the leaves. i have included some pics and would appreciate any help you may give.

It could be earwigs.
i must admit ive seen earwigs in my garden but just never thought about them .

If your plants are in pots they might be hiding underneath them. They will come out at night. It could be a whole load of other things too!
ive set a lot of traps and will await the outcome hopefully i will find a lot drowned in oil.
thx again and yes they are all in planters and pots as my yard is concrete
thanks olly ive still no earwigs in the traps but ive found some hiding on the climbing fram so yes i believe they are the culprits and have caused such damage to all the finer leaved plants as i have holly leaves untouched.
