Hi Dave, I use chicken manure twice a year generally, horse muck on roses and rhubarb (its better with custard though )
Occasionally liquid such as Miracle Gro when I can be bothered!
Ok waterbutts i'll be your guinea pig......What is JPR.
Paula tut tut tut shame on you girl thats a terrible joke. go to the dog barking thread if you want a joke.

apart from the difference of one's a chicken and ones a horse, what is the dirrerence in the formula.
I'm not apologising for my bad joke - what's the dog barking thread???
The chicken manure is dried/pelleted and easy to scatter around, the farmyard/horse manure is bagged as it is and stinks...... but the plants love it
i think maybe if you went out and spat on your garden cas iam sure you've got plenty,
then you wont need the manure that spills from your mouth as for your Mother in Law
i bet she would want too get as far as way from you
Now now children.
paula this is the thread on the barking dogs.

That's nice Marty Mower and for your info, I don't have a Mother In Law!
MartyMower who are you talking to and why so rude?! Surely whatever grievance you have does NOT need to be aired in public like this.
Forgotten what I was going to put now Diddy. Was not expecting to read that!
why is horse manure prefered to the use of cow manure?
Not sure actually, I buy it as 'farmyard manure' not sure what animal it's from, could be horse or cow I suppose?
