Advice please.

Whilst on holiday my neighbour has cut down a tree which now leaves my garden completely overlooked. on my side of the fence I've a rendered raised bed about 2ft high by a good foot deep. It has a solid base as its built on an old patio area. The area around the bed is a newish patio.
What can I plant to give me back my privacy? It's south facing with a clumping bamboo in one corner and a couple of 4/5ft palms. I've tried to show my problem in the pic.
The original tree was about 10ft and from my perspective more or less in front of the bay windowsill which have another storey and roof on.
would really appreciate any advice please. Thanks very much.
