All of that toil put into producing all of your lovely home grown fruit and veg,let us know what you do with it all,like recipe's,tips for storage,even how you store your plants over the winter month's etc.
I eat what is in season,I make jams and jellies,Pickle some and freeze,but give some away to others or exchange.these days I dont need so much but enjoy the cooking and perserving as well as eating inseason produce.

i have made apple sauce and pies.
frozen most of the veg.. peas/runners/carrots but have also given away loads of runner beans to the neigbhours and got some gorgeous big fat black cherries in return for some..
eaten the salad stuffs but did give some celery away to next door as she loves it also..
and those apples looks delicious flowering rose.. making my mouth water.
i am waiting for my bramblys to fill out.. thou they are dropping at the mo as we have not had any rain for months still.. hosing the garden each eve now for last few days as all 6 water butts are empty again for the 5 time this year..

Turkey- 6 months is long enough, after this time the skin will start going yellow and rancid to taste caused by freezer burn, unless it was cryovacced,vaccuum packed or gas flushed,then possibly 12 months.
