My broad beans failed to form

When I opened many of my broad bean pods, there were no beans inside or maybe 1 bean!

The pods looked & felt like they had beans inside but when opened they were just full of the usual white fluffy lining.

Any ideas why?

    maybe need more watering or just awhile longer to develope.

    I got the same thing on my second batch of the season. Don't know why. There ought to be a law against it.image

    Lack of pollination.  The bees have to visit the flowers to ensure pollination.

    I'll have to train the bees in my 2 hives to visit the broad beans then! image
