Purple loosestrife, Lythrum salicaria is attractive to bees, and the dragonfly larvae climb up it to hatch into dragonflies.

The candelabra primulas like that location and rodgersia is fond of a damp spot!
Iris pseudocorus, yellow water iris are nice and do the dragonfly larvae thind as well but you have to stop them taking over. Marsh marigolds, water mint, some oxygenators

That site's fascinating Sara, and some beautiful plants. Not sure that they'll all be hardy in the UK and also not sure how useful some of them are to UK wildlife.
