Dahlia cuttings?

I thought I would try some dahlia cuttings this year to see if I could be successful. I now have a bunch of cuttings in pots from 7cm then potted on  through 9cm/11cm and 13cm pots and all doing well. My problem is what now with winter approaching? Are they too small to survive or do anything with? I know the 7cm and 9cm ones (and maybe 11cm too) will be for the bin as just too small, but what do I do with the bigger ones? Leave in pots over winter? Bring indoors? Put in cold frame? Or empty out and see if there is a tuber to store? I don't have a greenhouse to keep them in so that's not an option.
Thanks

I've got some like that, as I couldn't resist taking cuttings when I had to cut some back! That'll learn me :)
I will dry mine off and bring them in and they'll have to take their chances as the spare room windowsills are already booked for the big tubers. GH too cold for those, but ones in big pots have survived ok, even last winter.

I'd keep them like that till frost time, then store the tubers that should have developed.

I agree. After they are frosted, dig them up and see whether you have tubers.

Out of interest, when did you take the cuttings?

Thanks all, guess its a wait and see.
I only took the cuttings at start of August sometime after seeing a piece on TV so thought I would try it. I took a few extra a week or two later as I thought I had mixed up some labels. If they dont survive then I still have the big main tubers and will just try earlier next year so they have more time to fatten up.
