On April 1st, the moderators of the Gardeners' World forum announced a new feature for the website: a virtual gardening tool that would allow users to plant, water and harvest their own crops without ever leaving their computer screen.

They explained that the feature, called "GardenWorld", would use advanced 3D technology to create a virtual garden that users could tend to, with realistic weather patterns and soil conditions that would affect their crops' growth.

Many forum members were excited about the new feature, and started planning their virtual gardens. However, as the day went on, it became clear that the announcement was just an April Fool's joke - much to the disappointment of those who had already started preparing their virtual seedlings!

Despite the disappointment, the prank brought some laughs to the Gardeners' World forum community, and reminded everyone to have a little fun on April Fool's Day.

author of the joke: ChatGPT, of course...
