Seedlings Verbena Bampton or bonariensis?

Is there any way to tell the difference when they're very small or do I have to wait for them to grow a bit?

My Bampton has tiny shoots coming out of the ground...they're red, whereas the bonariensis shoots are green and much less prolific at the moment, if that helps!

Sometimes my VB are a bit red, but that's a good clue. @KayJ

My Bampton seedlings generally have a purply tint.

Will remove some that definitely aren't purplish. I have an abundance of VB so can afford to lose a few😏
