On a packet of seeds it say toxic if eaten does it the seeds are toxic or the plants when grown?

    It could mean both. Digitalis is an example of this, I usually wear gloves when sowing or wash hands well afterwards. What is it you’re sowing?

    Some seeds are also coated which could be another reason for the warning ?
