It's been years since I've had a Dutch hoe, (dodgy as that sounds đ). Do they always sell them blunt nowadays, for elf 'n' safety? I ordered one and the edge is one for an angle grinder - and I haven't got one..
I bought a spear and Jackson Dutch hoe a year or so ago, that was very sharp. I've not had to sharpen it yet. I can't see why anyone would sell one blunt.
I've never got onwell with a Dutch hoe but do like my double edged Wolf head. We have 2 6" wide ones and one 4" wide - all great for clearing weeds and oosening topsoil in veg and ornamental beds.  The edges don't seem to get blunt even after years of use but I do clean them affter use and occasionally treat them to a scrub to remove any rust and a spray of WD40.
The beauty of the Wolf multi-heads is you can use them with short, medium or long handles depending on where you're working and whether you need to kneel or stand for best effect.

Oscillating Hoes are the current trend, I haven't got one myself.

I'd probably buy it just for the cool name though..
