Which paint do I use?

Apologies, for this not being garden related but does anyone know which type of paint I need to repaint what I believe to be a fibreglass garage door? I know there are a lot of garage door paints out there but they are usually for metal doors, is this what I need? I want to get it right as I do not want it peeling off. tia

I googled ' paint for fibreglass garage doors'  and lots of options came up. Noticed ronseal and hammerite do one but haven't looked at sites.

Fibreglass is great, but it's also non-porous so you need to do something to roughen up the surface first.
These instructions seem to make sense -

I should say that it's not something I've done though.

My garage roof is fibreglass and it does have almost a gloss finish.

Thank you @B3 and @Pete.8 for taking time to reply and for the link. At first glance my garage door looks metal but on the back of it I have noticed what looks like fibre glass so I am guessing that is the paint I need? It has always remained white, never yellowed and just needed the odd wash to remove dirty splashes from it. I have never wanted to touch it because I was convinced that I would never get the same quality finish on it. However, last year I had some rendering done and it got a lot of marks on it, plus, I have had a new front door fitted and feel that it would look nice to paint the garage door to match it. I was rather hoping someone on here might have done this successfully and could advise, but thank you anyway.   :)

A specialist paint shop like a Dulux Decorator Centre should be able to help you if you have one nearby.  Alternatively, some of the DIY stores like B&Q have paint mixing stations, the staff there should be able to help you.

I'd use a Zinsser primer like 123 or BIN it will stick to the fibre glass , you don't need to sand the door but a key for the primer will help, then add a exterior topcoat of your choice .
