Aphids on Roses

Hi all, cut back the rose's this afternoon, was quite surprised to see these wee beasties on the stems after all the hard frosts we've had recently.

    That's a surprise!. Something for the birds. They won't have  any trouble seeing them

    Yeah. You would expect it in a mild winter but down here in sunny Kent we've had two periods of about a week each when its been down to about -8

    Hello Hostafan, no rose doesn't mind she's a good old sort. I take it I've put an apostrophe where there shouldn't be one, I'll edit it now
