I think if we get a cold winter they could all be wiped out not that the Garden Centres will always let that be known. I would question their hardiness but the further south you are the more likely they will cope and grow well. Micro climate also plays a part. They are fairly new to cutivation in our gardens ,so still things to learn. I think you may loose the top leaves with new ones in the spring. They are also prone to rust and slug and snail damage. Easy to propagate in water.

A garden is an oasis for creation, available to anyone with a little space and the compunction to get their hands dirty.
I'm south east/ East Anglia very sheltered spot & unusual for us to get frost, as we are near the coast, the garden is south facing so very much a sun trap, will have to be careful in the summer, I think it should be ok in the lean-to. I now think it probably dried out being indoors near a radiator
