Garlic

Hi,

My garlic plants seem to have dieing leaves on them. Is this normal? If not is there anything I can do to perk them up?

Its the time of year. Nothing much looks perky in the winter. They sort of go into stasis. They’ll perk up in the spring when the temperatures begin to rise. Nothing you need to do at the moment … just don’t let the compost get too wet.

  • Mine look about the same.  It's the first lot I've grown but I expected them to 'stop' growing at this time of year.
At about 750 feet on the western edge of The Pennines.  Clay soil.
