Hi all, I made some pickled onions about 2 weeks ago and they are turning pink? Is this a problem? Never had it happen before and dont want to poison people or myself. Hope one of you clever cooks can help.
They are just reacting to the acid in the vinegar. Perfectly normal and nothing to worry about! In time they'll take on the usual pickled onion golden-brownish shade.
