Happy Birthday π @Topbird hope you have a lovely day planned. I would be very tempted by a kitten I must admit.Β
Pouring down here so a day of onion peeling beckons. Out at 3pm for a little party to celebrate Maisieβs birthday which is on Tuesday. I am so pleased as I got her a Little Miss library for only Β£12 second hand but immaculate she loves the books so should be happy. I give money but like them to have a gift for the day too.Β
Thanks for starting another new thread @Ladybird4, picture is stunning. We have quite a few trees around us and some of them are now starting to change to the most beautiful colours. They are quite stunning to look at. Quite day in order for us today, very damp and miserable outside so think the knitting needles will be coming out. LB, I do that and it's very frustrating that you can't remember where you've put something, isn't it? Have a cuppa, a think and then start huntingπ Good luck!
Hello everyone and thank you all for your kind birthday wishes. Having a lovely day so far. It was so dark this morning I didn't wake up till till gone half past eight - oops! After card and present opening, Facetimes and phone calls it was already lunchtime. A friend has just left and I'm now settling in for a lazy afternoon while OH cooks roast pork and cauli cheese for dinnerπ Pecan pie for afters - mmmmm
That's a beautiful picture for this thread LB. The autumn colours are pretty good this year. The drive is currently smothered in yellow ash leaves - which is somewhat challenging my sense of order and tidyness. However, there are still a lot to come so I'm going to try to leave it for one big clear up later this week. Also makes sense to have another back-care day so I'm fighting fit tomorrow (log delivery and stacking...).
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Good early evening all. T'Bird, I'm glad that you are having such a wonderful day. You have my mouth watering with talk of cauli cheese - another favourite of mine. Yes, the leaves are falling like snowflakes here and the patchwork of colours is just beautiful. Be careful with your back if you are going to be stacking logs tomorrow - as opposed to just being the foreman!

I've spent most of the afternoon on the phone to friends and family. It has tipped with rain today.
