GW BBC2 6.20am

If I have missed GW on a Friday night I watch the repeat on a Sunday morning on BBC2.
This morning I was totally confused when I saw a younger Monty with his two original dogs, lovely weather and no viewer's gardens. Did anyone else expect to see Friday's programme and been disappointed? I think it went back a few years and have no idea why they showed an old programme. Admittedly I missed the very beginning so there could have been an explanation.

That could be why mine failed to record this morning. I caught the last ten minutes or so and and thought it all looked rather familiar!

I just set it to record on Friday evening and the system recognises time changes in case it's a bit earlier or later or even a day earlier as it was this week.

I believe it's also repeated on Tuesday so check your schedules.

That's the one that was supposed to have been repeated this morning @Obelixx but it wasn't!

It was announced as "a change to the scheduled programme" but no explanation why. It was before I was a regular watcher, I think (unless I've forgotten watching it!). I'll watch Friday's on iplayer.

Many thanks for all the input. I have checked the schedules and found it is repeated on Wednesday 19th BBC2 at 8am. I didn't realise it was repeated twice unless they dig up another old one for us. Maybe they will repeat the one that was on this morning.  :D

If you have recorded the episode shown this morning you will be pleased to know it was the right up to date one. For some reason it was ten minutes shorter so I don't know what they would have edited out. There was also a lady doing sign language which couldn't have been easy with the names of the plants etc. and have never seen it on GW before. Maybe it was specifically shown for deaf people.
