Can anyone id this plant?  Tried plant identifier online but does give definitive answer

    thanks that seems to be what it is, have this on my allotment so will keep an eye out for it and keep digging it out

    Those dots don't look right for pulmonaria
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Yes, I can see that now. I think @nutcutlet is right.

    It has a beguiling blue flower but can become a real thug.

    Green alkanet.  The leaves and stems are hairy and scratchy.
    Gardening in East Suffolk on dry sandy soil.
