I can’t find Scott’s lawn builder

Does anyone else use this product? Has it been re-named? Thankyou

It is no longer made though the parent company makes fertiliser for the professional market

In a recent Which? survey of lawn fertilisers, their two Best Buy products were

Vitax Green Up Enhance Granular Lawn Feed
    and

     Miracle-Gro Evergreen Fast Green

Many thanks @BenCotto I will look this up.  I'm guessing both these brands do an autumn feed for roots etc too?  Do you have a favourite that you use?

I’m afraid I can’t help. For a few years we used Green Thumb which cost £67 pcm. The results were very good so we did not begrudge the expenditure but when the energy price crisis descended it was one of the first economies we made.

I think they've merged with Miracle-Gro/Evergreen and the products are no longer branded as Scotts.  Searching on a well known website comes up with these options: Amazon.co.uk : Scotts Miracle-Gro

This supplier states that Scotts Lawn Builder has been discontinued: Scotts Lawn Builder Lawn Feed - 8kg | Free UK Delivery (greenfingers.com)

    Hope this helps.

I have just been looking this up. Scott’s merged with Miracle Gro in 1995 and in 2017 sold their European interests to a private equity firm that has in its portfolio, among many others, Immediate Media, Moonpig and Wowcher.

  • Always bought Lawn Builder and its autumn version - don't think many lawn feeds are slow-release like those are.  Be interested if anyone has any recommendations.
